David ensemble
under the leadership of the maestro George Kyrillos has come
back from Stockholm after being a representation for Egypt
in the international orient Festival through an invitation
from the ensemble presented Hymns (Coptic heritage) some of
which characterized by pharaonic roots. The Swiss TV through
its each channels, mass media, the important Swiss
newspapers and magazines covered all about the performance
of the Egyptian ensemble and described it as one of a kind.
Sameh Darar,
the Egyptian ambassador in Swisser Land, met with the
ensemble and George Kyrillos the maestro and the leader of
it, and also Ahmed El Maghrabi the manager of the Egyptian
center of culture and arts... he congratulate them for the
major success and the honorable representation for elevating
Egypt name.
It is well
known that the ensemble previously presented its hymns with
El-enshad El-Sufi Choir, led by El-Sheik Mohamed El-Halabawi
in the holy arts Festival in 1995 in Paris. The funny thing
is that George kyrillos the leader of the ensemble is an
engineer but learned the leadership and musical composition
by the maestro Youssif El-Sais and the dead composer Aziz
El-Shawan. He is the first Egyptian to get Diploma in
orchestra leadership in Arts Academy. |
